Conference Saturdays: visualizing the world of sound

Sometimes it’s nice to take a step away from the usual sources of discussion and inspiration to see things from a different angle. And, other times it’s nice to just be dazzled by something cool.

This week’s Conference Saturday talk comes from designer Jared Ficklin. His recent TED Talk showcased unique ways to visualize sound – music, speech and ambient noise. It makes you wonder what speeches by Churchill, MLK and Clint Eastwood might look like.
