Draft one of the book due this week

I had planned on resuming my Digital Makeover series today. After all, MPs have returned to Ottawa for the winter sitting of Parliament. However, I’ve been directing my writing energy toward the first draft of a book I’m co-authoring with my friend Tod Maffin.

That’s right, the book we started in June is happening. We signed a contract with a publishing company. The first draft is due Thursday — four days from now. We have a pretty aggressive editing and publishing schedule with the hope of releasing the book in October.

So, hang in there. I plan to resume my regular digital public affairs blogging activities after the draft goes in.

In the meantime, feel free to sign up for the mailing list we set up for the book or join our Facebook community.

Thanks for your patience and the kind notes wondering where I’d gone.
