Snowbirds fly-by and memories of Canada Day

My wife, our younger daughter and I went to Parliament Hill to take in Canada Day celebrations, yesterday. It was the first time we did so since our two daughters were in strollers — maybe nine years ago.

Yesterday might mark the fourth era of my Canada Day experiences. This new era involves seeing musicians of my daughter’s generation (Carly Rae Jepsen) and modern Canadian icons who more immediately inspire me (Commander Chris Hadfield). I’m glad I have this memento to remember it.
