In case you hadn’t yet heard, there will be a federal election in Canada this autumn. The skeptics believe the writ will be dropped this spring. For all intents and purposes, the campaigning has already begun.
Some people have asked me to share some insight and guidance on how to pull together an effective digital campaign. A few even asked if I’d write a book. I’ve decided to fall somewhere in the middle.
Let this post be considered the first in a series of at-my-convenience blog posts to provide non-partisan guidance on pulling together an effective digital component to a campaign. While the thrust of the series is the upcoming election, my thoughts, suggestions and examples are meant for anyone, any team, responsible for pulling together and managing that which is digital in any type of campaign.
