Just over a month has passed. And yet the U.S. midterm elections seem a lifetime ago. For Whitney Hoffman, that means immersing herself in the next chapter of her life.
If you’ve been following my blog and podcast for a while, you may be familiar with my ongoing series with Whitney. She’s a long-time friend whom I met through podcasting in 2006. Earlier this year she was recruited to run as the Democratic candidate for Pennsylvania state legislature in District 160. I’ve been tracking her campaign since (part 1, part 2, part 3).
Spoiler alert: she lost. And yet, there’s amazing victory in her apparent defeat. And many lessons to be learned which any candidate or campaign can apply.
On this edition of digital public affairs, a campaign and election post-mortem with Whitney Hoffman.
